RULES & SAFETY

1. All dogs must be at least 1 year old on race day.
2. Human participants must be at least 10 years old and each participant may only run 1 dog in the race.
3. Your dog must be licensed, up to date on all vaccinations, and have no health complications that would prevent them from competing. *Vet records and dog licenses will not be required at the registration / check-in table; however, we recommend having a photo of them on your phone in case an issue arises.
4. All dogs MUST be kept on a leash at ALL times, including before and after the race. Please use a standard leash. No retractable leashes allowed. A harness rather than a collar is recommended!
5. Dogs must be comfortable, confident, and secure around other dogs and people.
6. You will have two chances to complete an obstacle. If you or your dog cannot complete an obstacle after your first attempt, you can go to the end of a line and try again or step to the side of the station and complete the designated penalty activity to continue. After a failed second attempt, you may move on to the next obstacle.
7. If after attempting an obstacle and your dog refuses, NEVER force your dog to complete it. Instead, participants can opt to complete the designated penalty activity as a time penalty.
8. Participants must clean up after their dogs. Waste receptacles will be located at obstacles for poop bag disposal.
