Park Clean Up VolunteersVolunteers are vital to the success of the city commitment to provide quality parks and recreation programs and facilities to our citizens. Volunteers not only provide invaluable support, but they also bring new ideas, energy, and a community perspective to the future of parks and recreation.

Parks and Playgrounds

Playground Builds Park Clean Ups - Help keep our parks clean and beautiful! Clean-up assistance is always appreciated year round. Group clean-ups are held in the spring.
Energy Park - Sunday, April 3 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Join the Regular Tuesday, 1:00 - 4:00 pm work and planning crew and Coop Concert weeders to help keep the park beautiful! Work with native plants and meet other gardening lovers. Call Nancy at 413-774-5667 for more information.
Hillside Park & Green River Swim Area - Sunday, May 22nd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Trail Maintenance - Help keep our trails clear and clean! Clean-up assistance is always appreciated year round.

Winter Carnival Volunteers  - Be a part of a tradition that began over 90 years ago! Triathlon Volunteer Greenfield Triathlon - A great race can't succeed without volunteers! The 40th Annual Triathlon will be held on Sunday, August 4th, 2024. We are building a team of great people to support the athletes and to assist us in ensuring this is a first class event! It takes 80+ volunteers minimum to run these dual events and that's where you come in! We need folks to fill many different positions including packet pickup, site preparation, water stop, registration, body marking, road marshal, finish line assistant, food service, transition area security, etc. Sign up to volunteer for the race at VolunteerSpot.
